Sign-Ups for Learn to Skate Taking Place This Month

Learn to Skate sessions at the Whitney Rink in the M&M’s Center are scheduled to begin next month and sign-ups will take place soon. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Learn to Skate at the Whitney Rink in Sheridan will take place January 6 through February 24. The skating classes are a unique, healthy Christmas gift for children and adults alike. Sign-ups for the 2024 sessions can be done in person at the Whitney Rink on Saturday, December 16 from 8 to 8:30 am and on Thursday, December 21 from 4 to 5 pm.

Skating programs focus on learning skating skills and instruction is offered to participants interested in simply learning to skate, recreational skating and competitive figure skating. Classes available are for age three to adult. The registration fee includes the use of skates. More information on the sessions, including a schedule of sessions and fees can be accessed here.
