cvannoyOn Tuesday, Dec. 5, Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger talked to Senators Dave Kinskey and Bo Biteman, along with Representatives Barry Crago, Cyrus Western, Mark Jennings and Ken Pendergraft at the annual Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Legislative forum.
He began by thanking them for their support, and for the direct distribution of funds. He added that Sheridan has used the funds for updates to the city hall, software updates, and repairs to the police department and the city streets. He also said they are very cognizant of how they spend the money.
One thing he talked about was subdivision development in the town.
He asked for money for the North East transition line to get water out that direction. He said the town has built out in every other direction, so being able to build in that direction would be nice.
He talked about trying to bring affordable housing into Sheridan as well.
Ambulance services is also a big concern in the town.
He said now they have three active ambulances on call. He said there was an emergency earlier this year at the North Antelope mine near Gillette and that Sheridan helped them out during that emergency.
