Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission, during their Tuesday meeting, approved the Holiday Courthouse Closure Schedule for the coming year (2024).
County Administrative Director Cameron Duff spoke about the schedule, explaining one change from the 2023 schedule.
By Wyoming Statute, county officers shall keep their offices open during usual business hours of each day excluding Saturdays, legal holidays, and other days as established by the County Commissioners through resolution.
2024 Holiday and Other Closures:
New Years Day, January 1
Equality Day, January 15
President’s Day, February 19
Good Friday, (courthouse closes at 1 p.m.), March 9
Memorial Day, May 27
Independence Day, July 4
Sheridan WYO Rodeo Activities, July 12
Labor Day, September 2
Veteran’s Day, November 11
Thanksgiving Day, November 28
Employee Appreciation Day, November 29
Christmas Eve, (courthouse closes at 1 p.m), December 24
Christmas Day, December 25
New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025
*Any other holiday proclaimed by the Sheridan County Commission
