Santa and Mrs. Claus came from the North Pole to Sheridan on November 4 for the 28th annual Christmas Stroll, to hear Christmas lists from area children. There was a morning session and an evening session, which begin at 4 p.m.

When asked how many years he had been making the trip down to Sheridan from the North Pole for the Christmas stroll, Santa had to think just a minute to remember how many years he has been coming here. He also talked about the trip down this year.

Mrs. Claus said she had been coming to Sheridan even before the Christmas Stroll.

Long lines of eager children packed the WYO to get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Colton Brewer, Shelby Kehrwald and their two children, Rylinn and Ryker Williams, were in line during the early session.

They have been coming to the Christmas Stroll for a long time, Kehrwald added that she had been coming since she was young.

There will be a story and photos about the Christmas Stroll posted later today.
