According to Chris Vrba, Director of Marketing and Development at Sheridan Community Land Trust, announced that due to the upcoming cold weather, the Saturday, October 28 Soldier Ridge Trail Walking Tour is being rescheduled for Saturday, November 4.

The SCLT Soldier Ridge Trail Walking Tour invites everyone to follow in the footsteps, hoofprints and stagecoach tracks of history as you get outdoors in a healthy, fun way at the Discovery Session: History on the Soldier Ridge Trail.

The Walking Tour will begin at 10:30 a.m. and run until approximately 12 noon. Please meet at the Soldier Ridge Trailhead. Discovery Session programs are free to attend.

This Discovery Session will help you fill your brain with fascinating stories of local history, and fill your lungs with fresh, fall air! The walking tour will follow the trail to the scenic overlook about a mile from the trailhead, for a total walk of about 2 miles. Please dress for weather, and bring your favorite beverages.
