SCSD#2 To Hold Special Meeting to Discuss Girls’ Softball
On October 20, The Board of Trustees of Sheridan County School District No. 2 gave notice of a special board meeting to be held on Monday, Oct. 23, in the Central Office board room at 6 p.m. The main item of discussion will be an update on a potential addition of a girls’ softball team for the high school girls. Audience comments are welcome at the meeting.

I would like to see some funds set aside for the girl’s wrestling team for singlets that are made for girls so they do not have to wear the old ones from the boys. We are excited to now have a girl’s team and we already have a girl state champ. Two girls have worked their butts off trying to raise the needed funds that the school should be funding. The football field looks great and the new band uniforms are nice. How about some funding for the girl’s wrestling team??
