YMCA Rimbusters deadline is Oct. 13

The Sheridan County YMCA Rimbusters basketball registration deadline is set for Oct. 13.

Rimbusters is a basketball program for children in 2nd and 3rd grades. The program emphasizes teamwork, fundamentals and love for the sport. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director for the YMCA, Liz Cassiday, spoke on the partnership between the Y and the Sheridan County Recreation District, developed to ensure kids in the elementary grades all have an opportunity to play.

Thanks to the “Give your heart to a child” campaign, scholarships can help parents who may be experiencing financial hardships to get their kids involved in any YMCA program. The scholarships are handled with discretion and respect.
