On Tuesday, Oct. 31, The City of Buffalo, like so many places in the US, will become ground zero for monsters, ghosts and superheroes seeking surgery treats.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader announced that downtown Buffalo will once again hold the Monster March.
This annual tradition closes Main Street in Buffalo and allows families and kids to trick or treat at the local businesses.
During years when Halloween falls on a weekend, the event was often held on the Friday closest to Halloween. This year, the event will begin at 4 p.m. Oct. 31, and will follow another trick or treat event, Trunk or Treat.

According to the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, the Monster March attracted over 600 children, many with families in tow as the kids traveled from store to store with buckets and bags in hand.
