The Brooks Street project has uncovered a need to replace a waterline causing an exit closure starting Monday, Sept. 25.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Commissioners Tom Ringley and Nick Siddle spoke on the ongoing project that has removed an abandoned city street and will replace it with parking spaces and greenspace for employees and visitors.
Ringley reminded listeners of the work that has been accomplished.
While working on the project, workers discovered the waterline feeding into the Sheridan County Courthouse needs to be replaced, which will close off one of the exits for up to three weeks.
Overall completion of the project is estimated to be sometime in November of 2024.
