There will be donations from businesses and individuals from the Sheridan, Buffalo, and Clearmont area. There is always a wide variety of donations at the auction, many times including baked goods
There is also a raffle for a Bergara B-14 Ridge 6.5 Creedmoore to be drawn at the auction. Tickets are $10 each and only 400 will be sold. Contact any member of the foundation board: Chirs Schock, Mark Weber, Mike Buss, and Amy and Tim Rowe.
The Clearmont Community Library Foundation started in the early 70s, when a group of Clearmont residents purchased the old Garretson Store Building on Front Street for $1. The old building, built in 1904, had been general store for many years, but by 1972, it had been neglected for many years.
The group, with the help of high school shop class, that cleaned up much of the building before remodeling could start, replaced the roof, put down new flooring, added bathrooms and kitchens.
The building now houses the Clearmont Library, a branch of the Sheridan County Library system, as well as providing meeting and activity
Money raised helps to maintain the center and continue to make it available for community use, free of charge. Projects last year included the Outdoor Club, a New Front Door and Clearmont Day.
Everyone welcome.
