Pat BlairSheridan Memorial Hospital is providing a chance for area physicians to participate in leadership training next month.
Amy Ligocki, who’s the hospital’s manager of medical staff services, said the all-day event will be on April 25 – a Saturday – at the hospital’s community room on Gould Street. She explained why the hospital offers the training.
Ligocki said the hospital has partnered with a consultant named Greeley Company to provide the training. In fact, she said, the company provided a physician for similar training in 2015.
The session will include training in roles and responsibilities and tools for achieving great performance and accountability among other topics.
She said Sheridan Memorial is inviting neighboring hospitals to send their physicians to the training as well.
Ligocki said the hospital routinely sends physicians for training in other areas around Wyoming, but next month’s training is a great opportunity to provide the training in Sheridan. She said that will allow more participation from Sheridan physicians.
