Sheridan County Ratifies Support for VOA, USDA,Census Bureau

The Sheridan County Commissioners ratified a number of items on their Consent Agenda at their recent meeting.

The commission ratified two Letters of Support for Volunteers of America to provide substance abuse and other treatments in the county, funded by the Wyoming Department of Health’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Division.

Also ratified was a Boundary Validation Program document specifying that the county boundary data on file with the US Census Bureau is correct, in preparation for this year’s census.

And the commission ratified an annual Operating and Financial Plan between the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office; and the USDA/US Forest Service/Bighorn National Forest for a Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement for current year 2020 in the amount of $10,200.
