The Sheridan County YMCA will close its doors for yearly maintenance on Aug. 12 and reopen at 5 a.m. on Aug. 21.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday informed listeners of the upcoming maintenance closure and some fun new additions to the YMCA’s playland.
During this time, staff perform a deep cleaning of the facilities as well as perform any service maintenance necessary. The sections of the old playland will be destroyed due to the disassembling process that must be followed according to the manufacturer.
The Sheridan County YMCA will continue businesses as usual at 5 a.m. Aug. 21, with a new playland for the kids and the beginning of another school year.
