Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council may soon be considering an amendment to ordinance 16-25 regarding parking on emergency snow routes in the City. City Attorney Brendon Kerns recently addressed the issue at a recent City Council study session.
Kerns said the amendment is needed because there are some important City streets that aren’t designated as emergency snow routes.
Kerns said the policy change would be presented to the City Council for discussion and debate after the proposed ordinance to amend current code has been adopted. First reading of ordnance 2270 is expected to be considered by the City Council at an upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting.
