Ron RichterU.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) delivered remarks on the Senate floor recently regarding President Joe Biden’s economic plan and what “Bidenomics” means to working families in Wyoming.
Barrasso said Senate Republicans have solutions to get America back on track. And it starts with spending less, and reducing red tape, and unleashing American energy.
Barrasso closed his remarks by saying Bidenomics is a grim reality for too many people in Wyoming and across the country and this administration cannot keep ignoring the pain they are causing.

I agree with you Senator Barrasso. Every time I see President Biden spend millions of our tax money I cringe. It’s not his money. We should have a say in it.

This economy is a result of Republican decisions. It was a great economy until Trump took over. Not that Putin’s war or Covid had to do with anything.

The Senator is right. We cannot tax and spend our way to Prosperity. Never been done. Never will be done. Lower Taxes and smaller gov’t, is the historic path to Prosperity. And going from energy Independence to begging other countries to increase oil production; only compounds the problem. Everything moves by diesel truck and when the price of diesel goes up…everything goes up. “Bidenomics” is crushing the US Economy!

Have you ever actually taken a US History course? Repubs have been playing variations of Trickle Down since Regan- that’s what never worked. Fron Regan to Bush 1 to Bush 2 to Trump it’s been tested and failed every time which lead to Clinton or Obama or Biden having to step in and save our economy from a looming disaster. Yes, it costs money to clean up GOP messes but appropriate spending (infrastructure, health care, education etc.) does pay for itself in increased economic productivity, unlike tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations which use the money to buy back stock and doubly increase their wealth at our expense. And, in case you haven’t driven by a gas station lately, diesel is down 40% from it’s peak and the US is still the largest producer of oil in the world.

During the Trump administration:
Consumer confidence at 17 year high. Mortgage applications at a 7 year high. Unemployment at a 17 year low. Created “Women In Entrepreneurship Act. Gutter Obama-era regulations. Ended “war on coal”. Weakened Dodd-Frank regulations. Promoted buying and hiring AMERICANS. Reduced “ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION”. Started the much needed “border wall” construction. (5) year lobbying ban. Worked to reduce F-35 manufacturing cost. Drafted the plan to defeat ISIS. Sanctioned Iran over missile program. I can go ON and ON. Bernie Lomax can’t
find cocaine in the most heavily surveyed house on the planet.

i have never believed in “polls” … only votes matter…the “landslide” victory is coming closer one day at a time…haven’t heard you complaining about the 1.2 billion in Covid Rescue Plan money the Wyoming Legislature stuck in the bank or the 63 million in “build back better infrastructure money…then there was the 62 million for improved drinking water infrastructure too…not to mention placing a cap on insulin for diabetics at 35 bucks a month…get a binky
