Sheridan College/Gillette College Faculty Transfer Nearly Complete

The separation process between Sheridan College and Gillette College continues, and soon the latter will have all of its full-time faculty under its own payroll.
Since June of last year, both colleges have been working on a memorandum of understanding that Gillette College will take over all costs associated with each of its own employees.
Sheridan College President Dr. Walter Tribley all the transfers are nearly complete and the last transfer is perhaps the biggest one that Gillette College needs.
“The last large group of employees that will transfer, the compensation for those employees will transfer to the responsibility of Gillette College, are the full-time faculty. They are still getting paid from us, until the middle of August and then we will be transferring the cost of those faculty over to Gillette College.”
Dr. Tribley adds the transfers will be complete in time for the fall semester to start at both colleges on August 28th.
