A Look Back in Time: March 6, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 6, 1920.

The mercury at the U.S. weather bureau in Sheridan last night recorded a minimum low of 14 below zero. A minimum of 10 to 15 below is forecasted for tonight.

The Farm Bureau meeting at Ranchester was well attended, and an excellent program selected. The women of the community were present and wanted to continue the sewing work.

Sheridan High lost to the Crow Tigers 38 to 34 in an exciting game at the Linden Gym last night.

John Eckerman has announced the sale of 39 horses in an auction Thursday at the T.E. Masters OZ ranch between Dayton and Ranchester.
