Sheridan College Alumni Coaches Woods Elite at Hoop Jam

The 21st annual Hoop Jam took place at Sheridan High School and was packed with new attendees and various teams. Woods Elite was one of the teams that competed at this year’s Hoop Jam. Woods Elite is a youth basketball program based out of Arkansas and Colorado sponsored by professional basketball player, Malik Monk. 

The deadly team of three was coached by none other than former Sheridan College basketball alum, Antoine Proctor. Proctor was ecstatic about revisiting Sheridan and competing in the 3 on 3 event.

Woods Elite competed in the 7th-8th grade male bracket. They had a nail-biter of a match in the semi-final where they came back from an eight-point deficit and won 14-13 to advance to the final round. They would eventually get dethroned in the championship match by the CEOs 2.0 16-14. For more information and results click here.
