Thanks to the University of Wyoming, small business owners can learn another series of techniques to find more customer leads and increase their sales.

On Friday, May 19, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Liz Jamieson will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled “How to Get More Leads and Increase Your Sales.” Registration is free. To register, click here.

Through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming CNP  provides small-business resources and assistance for traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

According to UW, during the Wyoming CNP webinar, Jamieson will discuss strategies and tools small-business owners can use to get more customer leads, as well as techniques for converting more prospects into buyers. She also will discuss the distinction between marketing and sales, and how to effectively use both to increase sales.

Jamieson has been coaching, facilitating and training in a variety of environments for decades, including as a Washington SBDC certified business adviser; business coach and program director for a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Center; and manager of corporate training and continuing education for a technical college.

Jamieson owned a website design and development firm for many years, where she coached entrepreneurs in branding, sales and marketing. There, she worked on the online presence, collateral and copy for over 100 different small businesses. To build her business, she cold-called entire chamber of commerce directories. Her strengths are in technical online marketing, loan packaging, business planning and development, and social media.
