While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, The Dodd & Dorothy Bryan Foundation Manager Annette Rinaldo wanted to inform listeners of the opportunity.

Those applying for the loans can be non-traditional as well as traditional students. Students can apply for loans for graduate school, even if they did not borrow for undergrad degrees. According to Rinaldo, the funds can be used for anything that facilitates the borrower in obtaining their educational goals as long as they are enrolled in school full time. And the funds can be used at any college or trade school.

Dodd Bryan was a successful insurance executive with what is now INA Insurance Company in Philadelphia. Upon retirement Bryan joined his wife, Dorothy, who had spent 25 consecutive summers at Eaton’s Ranch. The couple loved the Sheridan area and Mrs. Bryan insisted that her legal residence should be Eaton’s Ranch, Sheridan County.

Bryan passed away in 1960 and in March of 1965, Mrs. Bryan prepared her will with the advice of legal counsel, William “Bill” Redle. Together they decided that the philosophies she shared with her husband could be served by establishing a foundation to benefit the education of present and future generations. The Dodd & Dorothy Bryan Foundation was created at that time.To learn more, click here.  Or, email Rinaldo at loanadmin@bryan-foundation.com.
