The Brinton Museum Welcomes Carrie Edinger

SCLT History Program Manager Carrie Edinger will be starting her new job with The Brinton Museum the first part of May.

Edinger, who is an artist, talks about her educational background and why The Brinton feels like a good fit for her talents.

Kendra Heimbuck, Executive Director at The Brinton Museum, talked about Edinger coming on board at the Museum. She said that they had an opening come up in the resource development office, and Edinger has been a friend of the museum.

Heimbuck said that Carrie has exhibited her art at the museum, and she has a great interest in nature, history and the arts in Sheridan County.

Although most people know The Brinton as an art museum, Heimbeck said that they are much more.

She added that the museum includes the ranch house and the horse barn and the Little Goose Creek Lodge building. During the summer tours of the grounds, the ranch house and the historic buildings on sight are held every hour, which opens May 25 through the month of September.

This year, 2023, is also an exciting occasion for the Brinton, and Heimbuck explains.

Edinger added about her upcoming position at The Brinton, and what she was looking forward to as she begins her new job.
