The Sheridan City Council, by a vote of 5 to 2, approved a three year contract extension with City Administrator Stu McRae. The action came during the City Council’s regularly scheduled business meeting this week. Councilors Kristen Jennings and Andrew Patceg voted against the new contract. Jennings expressed her concerns with the contract prior to the vote.
Councilman Patceg voiced his opposition to the contract as well.
The annual base salary in the contract is $144,918.54 and it runs from March 19, 2023 to June 30, 2026.

It`s just not the pay raise it`s also the 6 month severance package that the city administrator would get if terminated. No one should get a severance package if terminated. Also all the hiring and firing should go through the HR department and not the city administrator. Our police officers need a pay raise, we can do with out a city administrator, but we can`t do without our police officers.
