The Sheridan County YMCA has added more sessions to an important class, providing comfort and safety to an infant as they explore water.
In a recent appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday spoke on the parent and child swim classes that are offered at the YMCA Aquatics Center.
According to Cassiday, the focus for this class is to ensure a baby’s first swim experience is a positive one by guiding both the parent and the child in basic water orientation.
With the popularity and the importance of the class, the YMCA has added a few more sessions to allow more parents the opportunity to take the class with their infants.
