It may not be time to take an outside swim yet, however some people are encouraged to be bold and go for the cold.
The Sheridan Jackalope Jump is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 25th at the Goose Valley Fire Department near the Sheridan County Airport.
The event serves as a fundraiser for Wyoming Special olympics.
Proceeds and involvement in the event helps provide year-round sports training and competition for athletes as well as helping them achieve their goals, live healthier lives and have a sense of inclusion in the community.
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $100 before they can take the jump and they can also wear something silly with their swimwear, provided it’s appropriate.
Awards are given out to recognize the best costume, largest group and most funds raised.
