Museum at the Bighorns season opening March 1

The Museum at the Bighorns will open their doors for the season at 9 a.m. March 1. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Museum at the Bighorns Collections Manager Jessica Salzman told listeners that the new paleontology exhibit will show visitors a  different type of prehistoric history than the museum has displayed in the past. 

The exhibit will be on display for two years. Salzman and executive director of the museum, Danielle Stuckle, have stated that programs surrounding the exhibit are in development. 

Salzman told listeners there is plenty to see in the exhibit thanks to a partnership. 

This year, the Museum at the Bighorns will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays thru Saturdays.
