Drug Paraphernalia Ordinance Passes on First Reading

An ordinance regarding drug paraphernalia was an item of consideration for the Sheridan City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
In 1972, an ordinance was adopted that prohibits the possession of drug paraphernalia within the City of Sheridan. The City Council passed on first reading an amendment to that ordinance that addresses a deficiency. City Attorney Brendon Kerns.
The City Council approved the ordinance on first reading by a vote of 6 to 0. Councilman Terry Weitzel was not present at the meeting. The ordinance must be approved two more times before it takes effect.
