Aaron PalmerState Senator Dave Kinskey (R-Sheridan, Johnson Counties), in his weekly talk with Sheridan Media from the legislative session, talked about HB103, the Crossover Voting Bill that has been revived in the Senate.
Kinskey explained the bill and why it was revived.
Kinskey said that is usually where the story ends for bills that die in committee, but he explained how HB103 was resurrected.
Kinskey said he knows some people like the bill while others do not, but either way he feels it deserves an airing and a fair debate.
The bill is scheduled for debate on the Senate floor Tuesday, February 21.

So, Dave thinks my right to vote for whom I want to vote is Mischief??????????? It is my right Dave, to vote as I wish. But I apologize Dave, I forgot it is up to republican legislators across our country, to decide what we should read, what teachers can teach, decide what I can do with my body, what my children can do with their body, to decide what books to allow in public libraries and what books to ban or burn, it is the republicans who decide what rights we are allowed and which ones to take away. But after all Republican legislators know what is best for us RIGHT ??

yeah Harriet, the GOP legislators talk about freedom, individual and family rights, fewer regulations. However, Mr. Kinsky et al do act as though they know best. (Listen to what he (a non-medically trained politician) said about letting a mother make a decision regarding her child’s medical treatment.) Seems though they really mean “WE know how life is to be lived, and we’ll pass laws and run things so you all will do it that way”. It appears most GOP’ers these days, and certainly our current posse of legislators, do not seem too encumbered by self doubt, regardless of their lack of knowledge, experience, or expertise. It also looks as if when there’s any question, they use religion (their brand, and not just any religion by the way) to gain direction. Again, they just don’t seem too encumbered by doubt in taking away rights to enforce conformity with their (religious?) values. As a born and raised Wyomingite, I remember the GOP as being different, more libertarian – actually endorsing individual and family rights. Maybe carpetbaggers have made the difference, but I just can’t trust anyone in that party anymore since the party collectively suffers from really looney group think.

I suspect Mike, that if democrats were taking these rights like the republicans are you wouldn’t be jeering for them…. Interesting what a difference a party designation makes but regardless of your lack of foresight, these rights are still lost to us ALL!!
