JCTA Announces New Hire for Administrative Assistant

Kristin de Galard has been hired as the new administrative assistant by the Johnson County Tourism Association.

The announcement came in a release from Board President Jody Sauers this week.

According to the release, de Galard will assist the board in planning, organization, coordination, and execution of tourism marketing activities, and will support JCTA board members in facilitating activities that achieve the mission and strategic plan of increasing tourism in Johnson County.

She will promote and support the Board and its mission by sharing its work and accomplishments with the public, and both will develop and maintain positive working relationships with partner organizations such as the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, JOCO First and others that bring tourism to the community.

de Galard has lived in Buffalo for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, local real estate market and has knowledge of the area and local businesses.

She has volunteered at many local events and has been a board member of Arts Along the Bighorns/Cowboy Carousel Center; and has been a board member and treasurer with the Johnson County Arts and Humanities Council.

Her first day with the JCTA was this past Monday, February 13.
