Buffalo Council Passes Second Reading of Co-Op Annexation

The Buffalo City Council, at their recent meeting, passed on second reading Ordinance No. 1412, which will annex the Big Horn Cooperative Marketing Association property located on Highway 16 East, into the city.
The property is known as the Big Horn Co-Op.
The council passed the Ordinance’s first reading at their December 20 meeting.
According to Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay, the annexation application was recommended for approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission at their meeting in November.
The Ordinance will require a third and final reading at the council’s next meeting January 17 to be passed.
Asay also gave his report to the council at the meeting, discussing contractor license renewals.
Asay said due to complaints he has received, he wanted to remind residents that campers can only be parked on city streets for 72 hours at a time; and that snow from sidewalks can be pushed into streets, but not snow from driveways.
