Western Highlights Bills From Week One of Session

The first week of the 2020 Budget Session had Wyoming’s Senators and Representatives working hard to get as many bills as they could heard and voted on for introduction. Over 350 individual Senate Files and House Bills were listed and many of those did not even get a vote due to time constraints. Local Representative Cyrus Western did highlight a bill that he was happy passed the first step in the process.
House Bill 28 was introduced by a vote of 52 yays, 6 nays, and 2 excused. It has most recently passed 2nd reading of the House. Representative Western also highlighted a bill that didn’t pass.
