2020 Budget Ready at Session Start

Last Monday morning, the 65th Wyoming Legislature convened for the start of the 2020 Budget Session. According to Local Representative Cyrus Western, an unexpected gift was waiting in the form of the budget bill.
It was said that this was the first time that the budget has been ready on the first day of the session in almost 3 decades. After having some time to look over the state’s financial future, Representative Western has an idea for an amendment he’d like to propose.
The second week of the 24 day session begins Monday, and the Legislators are expected to spend a large portion of the week working on the budget.
