SPD Chief: keep security in mind this holiday season 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Chief of the Sheridan Police Department, Travis Koltiska, advised Sheridan residents to keep safety in mind this holiday season. 

Although not a major metropolitan area, the SPD Chief told listeners that even here in Sheridan safety and security should be on the minds of residents and recommended that people keep the doors on homes, cars and other structures locked up.

Many residents will have packages delivered to their doorstep this season. The Chief gave listeners some techniques to ensure those packages do not end up in the hands of thieves who may steal boxes off of a residential porch.
