A Look Back in Time: Feb. 16, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 16, 1920.

W. D. Fisher, secretary of the Custer Battlefield Hiway association, will leave tomorrow on a five weeks’ trip during which he will travel 2,000 miles and hold 24 meetings in the interest of the Custer Battlefield Hiway.

F. Cone, superintendent of the Sheridan division of the Burlington railroad, said today that the government’s return of the railroads to private ownership on March 1 would in no way affect the personnel under his control.

The Sheridan High School will be represented at the state interscholastic meet next month at the Wyoming University.
