The Trail End State Historic Site is inviting the public to come and help decorate the Kendrick Mansion for the holidays.
During a recent appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Site Superintendent Sharie Shada told listeners it takes a group of dedicated people to decorate the Kendrick Mansion due to the size of the large house and the amount of decorations that are used.
According to Shada, every year a few dedicated members of the public volunteer their time to transform the mansion into a holiday wonderland. This year, Shada would like more members of the public to feel free to come to the mansion and create a new Christmas tradition of fellowship while decorating a historic part of Sheridan and former home of one of Wyoming’s most prominent families.
The decorating will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the historic Kendrick Mansion located at 400 Clarendon Ave, Sheridan.
