Kinskey on Start of Session, JAC Duties

Wyoming State Senator Dave Kinskey serves Sheridan and Johnson Counties and is currently working through the 2020 Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature. Senator Kinskey shared how the first day of the 24 day haul went.

As a member of the Joint Appropriations Committee, Kinskey is also very busy with budget tuning. He explains the workload requirements of that designation.

Most of the week, when not in committee meetings, the Senators and Representatives worked on getting bills introduced. As it is a budget session, the threshold for introduction is ⅔ of the committee of the whole.
