Two Wyoming Homeland Security grants that were scheduled to be accepted by the Johnson County Commission this week were put on hold due to pending changes in the agreement document to be added by the federal government, according to County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly.
Connolly read a statement she received from the state Homeland Security Office.
The commission said they wanted to wait to sign the agreements so they could see what provisions were being added to the agreements by the State Attorney General’s Office.
The two grants are for nearly $6,000 and nearly $15,000 respectively.
Never depend on a handout from the Feds.
