A Look Back in Time: Feb. 14, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 14, 1920.

Members of the Rotary club and the Sheridan Commercial club adopted a joint resolution today asking the city council to advertise for bids in four paving districts in which the property owners protesting do not represent 50 percent of the property.

Police last night arrested four boys ranging from 11 to 13 years of age for vandalizing the Congregational church. The boys will appear in police court at 3 o’clock this afternoon.

The Carneyville Parent-Teachers association will hold a Valentine Dance tonight at Monarch Hall. Proceeds will benefit the Carneyville school.
