Ron RichterMain Street from Coffeen Avenue/Burkitt Street to 1st Street in Sheridan will be closed temporarily this weekend due to a Wyoming Department of Transportation striping project. City Administrator Stu McCrae made the announcement at the City Council’s recent study session.
McCrae said the intent of the contractor is to have the striping done by mid afternoon on Sunday. Once again, Main Street from Coffeen to 1st Street will close at midnight late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the project may end up being delayed due to the rain that is forecast throughout the weekend.
