Barrasso Addresses Inflation During Senate Floor Remarks

U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) spoke on the Senate floor recently about inflation and how he feels Democrat policies have created the inflation crisis that is hitting all Americans. Barrasso said the recently passed budget bill was partisan and a liberal wish list.
Barrasso said inflation continues to impact American families.
Barrasso said in relation to high energy prices, a record number of 20 million Americans have fallen behind on paying their electric bills and in total, the American people owe more than $16 billion in unpaid electric bills. double the amount owed before the pandemic.

Once again Barrasso fails Econ. 101. If our inflation is caused by Bidens spending policies then what is causing it in the EU and Britain and Canada and Australia and China, all of whom have a higher inflation rate than we do? Inflation happens when demand outstrips supply- it will end when balance returns. Barrasso, C- Doctor, F in Economics.

Sorry john, you cant blame the dem policies on inflation when some of your biden republican colleagues voted to get many of these bills passed. Even your “leader” bipartisan mitch is complicit on getting some of these massive spending bills across the finish line. Heck, even you voted to give the dems the ability to raise the debt ceiling. Please save your fiction for the apathetic because many conservatives arent buying your snake oil anymore.

I can’t say I think the inflation we are seeing is entirely Bidens fault since the government has been printing and spending for decades. However you can bet that if this level of inflation were happening under a republican the same people defending Biden and blaming Trump would be screaming bloody murder. Politics is just unsightly.
