Ron RichterDuring an interview with Jonathan Karl on ABC’s “This Week” program, Wyoming Congresswoman and Vice Chair of the January 6th Select Committee Liz Cheney (R-WY) discussed the ongoing threat posed to the nation by former President Donald Trump, and the continued work of the Select Committee investigating the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Cheney recently lost her bid for reelection as she was defeated by Harriet Hageman in the Republican Primary last week. After losing her house leadership role in 2021, and then ultimately her seat in the House, Cheney was asked if she had any regrets?
Cheney said her defeat in the primary is indicative of Trump’s hold on the Republican party.
Cheney was asked about former Vice President Mike Pence testifying before the January 6th Select Committee.
Cheney said they’ve been in discussions with Pence’s counsel about testifying. The January 6th Select Committee is expected to hold additional hearings next month.

I dont recall President Trump destroying the us economy, hiring 87,000 IRS agents, creating a ministry of truth, directing social media to censor information that counters the administrations dogma, and forcing people into an unworkable green energy cult like team biden has done, liz. Your bizarre obsession with the past president is unhealthy.

Thomas: Correct. And Wyoming Republicans should feel very good about tossing her out. This past weekend she appeared on the Sunday shows and said that she’s going to work to get Democrats elected in races where Trump had endorsed a candidate. See how deeply this personal hatred goes? What kind of “Republican” does things like that? Unhealthy is too kind a word to describe her clearly irrational behavior.

I recall Trumps infrastructure plan, oh wait he failed, no I recall Mexico paid for the wall, nope he failed again, oh yeah covid was going to be cured by easter wrong again. The only thing Trump did was try to overthrow our goverment and like everything he failed again…What I do know is Biden has excellent job numbers, passed a comprehensive infrastructure bill and has helped guide us through the Trump recession.

Ross- don’t forget the racism and homophobia (although give him due- he was more successful at promoting those kinds of things).

ROFLMAO—yeah trump gave us 7 dollar gas, the greatest inflation in 40 years, 13 dead service members because he botched the afghan pullout. Trump shakes hands with people that aren’t there and cant complete a sentence…and yes, when trump was Prez 75 % of Americans thought the US was on the wrong path, and yes trump has a 36% approval rating….Nice try Ross but no one is buying it.. I tend to wonder if people like you are blind or intellectually challenged to the facts??

Do we assume any one who voted for Joe Biden is in a healthy state of mind? Liberalism is a mental illness

It should be obvious to even you Mike. I am referring to your continuous childish name calling. Take responsibility for your OWN posts, instead of diverting attention and blame to others. I am SURE you have something to offer this forum, I sincerely hope you will. I look forward to your thoughts.

What kind of a “republican” charley??? A true patriot who sacrificed her career because donny liar has to be stopped before he destroys this country with a civil war to satisfy his gigantic sick ego… Her TOTALLY RATIONAL behavior is something you could never understand… She has put this great country above her career and ego.

Someone please inform the soon to be former congresswoman that Donald Trump isn’t the president anymore and hasn’t been since 2020, nor is he even a declared candidate for 2024. Shes beginning to remind me of a dementia patient that thinks it’s 1934!
