cvannoyOn Sunday, Aug. 21, the Clearmont Historical Group hosted an ice cream social for the community.
Robert Prusack, CHG President, said that he felt the event went well. He said there were over 50 people, including kids who enjoyed the “Dig Up History” game, where kids could dig through sand in a small stock tank to find various items donated by members.
Fran Felz donated the ice cream, which was purchased at Yoder’s County Market on Trabing Road outside of Buffalo.
The Clearmont Historic Group (CHG) preserves the history of Clearmont and the lower Clear Creek Valley. They have a center and a small museum and ever-changing displays.
