Ron RichterA funding request from the Hub on Smith was a topic of discussion during Monday night’s Sheridan City Council study session. Sheridan Medias’ Ron Richter has the details.
City of Sheridan Administrator Stu McRae provided the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger with a status update on American Rescue Plan Act, or ARPA projects. During his report, McRae said The Hub on Smith recently approached the City about additional funding.
McRae said the funding request precipitated a meeting with Mayor Bridger and representatives from The Hub.
McRae said The Hub intends to request $100,00 from the City and $100,000 from the County.
The funding request is expected to come before the City Council for consideration at an upcoming business meeting.
