A proposed lot size variance that would reduce the minimum lot size has been approved by the Sheridan County Commission.

County Planner Mark Reid explained the reason for the request during the recent county commission meeting.

Commissioner Terry Cram said the request was not controversial.

According to the report from the Public Works Department, the proposed tracts (1 and 2) created by the variance will each contain an existing dwelling and no other dwellings are planned.
