Ron RichterGovernor Mark Gordon’s Reimagining and Innovating the Delivery of Education (RIDE) Advisory Group will be hosting two listening sessions next week in Gillette. The group is inviting parents, students, educators and community members to participate in the listening sessions that are scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 from 7 to 8:30 pm and Wednesday, July 20 from 10:30 am until noon. Both listening sessions will be held at the Pronghorn Center at Gillette College. The goal of the listening sessions is to obtain specific feedback that can be developed into a set of recommended actions for Governor Gordon.
The Ride Advisory Group was formed to study and develop recommendations for elevating Wyoming’s primary and secondary education system into a position of national leadership. The group recently released the results of an online public survey conducted earlier this year on the future of the state’s education system. An executive summary of the results can be viewed here. You can pre-register for either of the listening sessions here.
