Ron RichterA bid award for a pathway project in north Sheridan was considered by the Sheridan City Council this week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The bid opening for the sealed bids the City of Sheridan received for the Gateway Park Pathway Project was held on April 12. The Council, by a vote of 6 to 1, followed staff’s recommendation and awarded the bid for the project to Mountain View Building, Inc. in the amount of $1.29 million. City Engineer Hanns Mercer explains the details of the project.
Councilor Kristen Jennings cast the lone no vote on the bid award.
The pathway project is being funded with GPET funds and Transportation Alternatives Program grant.
