Little Change In North Central WY Unemployment Numbers From January to February 2022

When it comes to unemployment numbers for this time of year, things are getting back to where they were before the pandemic.
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says state-wide seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers, dropped from 3.8% in January 2022 to 3.7% in February 2022.
The February numbers are also down from 5.0% compared to February 2021.
Numbers in Sheridan and Johnson counties did not change much last month.
Sheridan Counties’ numbers were down from 3.8% in January to 3.7% in February, while Johnson County went up from 4.1% to 4.2%.
Compared to February 2021, those new numbers are down from 6.0%.
Teton County had the lowest unemployment rate in February at 2.5%, while Big Horn, Natrona and Sweetwater Counties tied for the highest rate at 5.0%.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers for February 2022 is at 3.9%.
