Johnson County Awards Airport Grazing Lease

The Johnson County Commission has awarded the grazing lease on county-owned lands near the airport.

The county issued Requests For Proposals and received three bids for the leasing of the land.

During the recent commission meeting, it was announced that Joe Reiner bid $4,000; Dan Myers bid $4,000; and Tom Lohse bid $4,424.25.

The commission voted to take the highest bid from Lohse.

Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago will draft the documents and have them ready for signatures by April 15.
