Hub to Welcome New Year’s at Noon

The Hub on Smith Street will be open and serving a mid-day meal on New Year’s Day next week, but the real fun, according to Carmen Rideout, will be the day before – on New Year’s Eve.

Rideout, who’s executive director of The Hub, said that’s when the facility will host its annual New Year’s at Noon celebration.

Rideout said it’s midnight somewhere at noon here in Sheridan, and she’s hoping to welcome in the New Year with a bang with the party at The Hub.

The countdown to 2020 will start at 10 a.m. in The Hub’s cafe, and end with a toast to the New Year at noon, followed by bingo. Music will be by the Terry Garrison Band.

Rideout said The Hub will be open on New Year’s Eve from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. She said The Hub will be open on New Year’s Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
