Councilwoman Betz commented that there is wasted water in the town that is not being accounted for. She asked that the town fix the problem of wasted water. No action was taken

Town Clerk/Treasurer Amy Vineyard discussed issues with the audit as well as some concerns she had about taxes. Vineyard also informed the board that she had set up training with the ClerkBook support staff to learn how to close the books correctly.

In new business the Town of Clearmont received four bids to replace lights in the Town Hall shop. Councilman Betz moved to accept the bid from Chesbro Electric, seconded by Councilman Buhr. Motion carried.

There was also the first reading on the Vacate of Land, and the council moved to approve the first reading. Councilman Poppenga abstained from voting due to his involvement with the vacate.
