JCHC Board Opts For Zurich for Insurance

The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center have voted to award their general and liability insurance policies to Zurich North America.

The board has been reviewing their policy and looking into other providers over he last couple of months and heard the last presentation from Trevor Moon with North Wyoming Insurance of Buffalo, representing Zurich at their most recent meeting.

The board also heard a presentation from Utah Medical Insurance Association, or UMIA, during their board meeting in June.

Facility CEO Sean McCallister gave a review of the proposals and made his recommendation to the board.

Some board members felt that although both insurance providers were from out-of-state, it was important to keep North Wyoming Insurance, a local company, as the independent agent for the policies through Zurich.

The board voted to go with Zurich through North Wyoming Insurance.
